We know how difficult it can be to find a photographer that fits your style and budget. I spend a lot of time sharing reasons on why you SHOULD hire us but thought I’d flip the script today. So here’s 5 reasons why you shouldn’t hire the MMP Team.
You Want to Plan your Session without any Help:
If you’d rather figure out how to prepare for your session by yourself, then I may not be the right fit for you. We take pride in providing detailed guidance to our clients, helping them with outfit choices, location recommendations, selecting their favorite images and more. If that level of support feels overwhelming, we may not be the best fit for you. We never want our clients to feel unprepared.
You Want to Skip Hair and Makeup:
If you don’t want professional makeup or hair styling for your session, we might not be the right photographer. Hair and makeup artistry is included in all of our Signature sessions. My goal is to eliminate stress on the day of your shoot, ensuring you wake up and simply show up. With a professional stylist on hand, you’ll never have to worry about perfect eyeliner or runaway curls.
You Prefer Generic, Cookie-Cutter Shots:
If you want your photos to resemble everyone else’s, then I may not be the photographer for you, either. I focus on creating natural poses that reflect your individuality and use your personal fashion style to inspire the aesthetics of your images. Your portraits will be timeless and one-of-a-kind!
You Want an Artificial Look to Your Images:
At Megan Myrick Photography, our mission is to portray the REAL you in your portraits. We prioritize capturing accurate colors, exposure, pose, and composition right in-camera, which allows us to minimize editing and produce images that genuinely represent who you are.
You Only Want Digital Files:
We understand that digital files are important which is why we do offer them, but you won’t find us giving you just those. To us, digital files are an unfinished work of art. While they might be great for sharing on social media, there’s still quite a bit of work to do if you’d like to print any of them: selecting which image(s) to print, finding the right printer, deciding on a size and finish, wondering if it will print beautifully … what a headache! You should let us worry about all of that!
