So you receive a new shiny camera for Christmas, your birthday or anniversary. Naturally you have grand visions of snapping magazine worthy images of your children, looking happily up at you with wide eyes, adorable toothy grins and absolutely zero tears. Yet you eventually discover that your pictures aren’t turning out quite how you’d imagined.

Over the past year I have had several clients and friends ask me to please teach a course on how to use their “nice” camera. I took this to heart and am excited to be offering the first Tiny Clicks workshop! This class will cover the very basic skills needed to begin taking better quality snaps of your children and family. I will teach you about aperture, shutter speed, ISO and how they work together to create a perfectly exposed image. We will also briefly discuss composition, perspective and “finding the light.” Each student will receive a class workbook with tons of information and resources that will be a reference for you after the class is over.
Tiny Clicks will be held February 28th from 9-12 at my Richmond Hill Studio. Participation includes light snacks and drinks, a workbook that showcases great image examples and shooting assignments for you to try at home.
The cost for this workshop is $110 and is limited to five people.

* camera manual
Please note: a point and shoot camera is fine to bring, although not all of the information will be applicable to point and shoot models.
