Welcome to week 5 of the Lunchbox Chronicles!
Monday was Labor Day, so no school lunch to prepare. 🙂
Cheese ravioli with marinara sauce in the thermoses, parmesan zucchini slices with carrots for my oldest and cucumber for my youngest. Mixed fruit of blueberries and strawberries, and a biscuit. My oldest chose apple juice to drink and my youngest, milk.
Love this meal! So easy and delicious … crock pot sweet and sour chicken with carrots, pineapple, and rice. My youngest loves cottage cheese, but my oldest prefers apple sauce. Both have mixed fruit and chocolate milk.
Turkey and cheese tortillas wraps with lettuce, sliced apple, veggies, and an Oreo for dessert. My youngest has the addition of cucumber chip pickles (yum!)
I had a business event to attend the night before, so the boys had organic mac & cheese for dinner. I warmed up the leftovers for the boys to take for lunch on Friday. Applesauce, peas, and tomatoes as a side. Milk for my youngest, apple juice for my oldest.
I wanted to let you know that this will be the last time I complete a weekly Lunchbox Chronicle. I have decided to do a monthly blog instead highlighting some of our favorite lunches from each month. I have many other ideas I’d like to share with you and I definitely don’t want you to be sick of hearing from me! 😉
Thanks for reading!
