Y’all will recognize my lovely friend, Sue, and her stunning daughters. They are quite the fixtures here at MMP … pregnancy announcement, two maternity sessions, newborn, and milestone sessions … whew! I was so excited when Sue and her fam hired me for updated family portraits last year. We had initially planned on an outdoor session, but mother nature had other ideas. Incredibly grateful for my studio which kept us from missing a beat! 🙂

I absolutely love studio family sessions, but if it isn’t your jam other locations ideal for family portraits include Ft. McAllister, J.F. Gregory Park, downtown Savannah, or Tybee, to name a few.

It can be hard coordinating outfits, especially with for an extended family session, but I absolutely loved the color scheme they all came up with! Isn’t it gorgeous? I am definitely a fan of rich, jewel tones … they photograph so lovely.

The patriarch and the matriarch of the Nelson family. They look amazing in cranberry and white!

Two proud grandparents with their precious granddaughters. Look at all of those sweet smiles!

These lovely solid colors with their white skirts and coordinating bows make a beautiful portrait. Such pretty sisters!

Their smiles are priceless. We honestly laughed through the entire session … such a fun group!

These sisters…so cute! Baby O. has the most striking blue eyes! We love how mom matched her beautiful girls together.

Grandfather and his exquisite granddaughters…what a special bond they have! I have to tell you, he is one of the coolest grandpas ever. The love he has for each one of them was so palpable … and how these girls adore him!

Cousins! There’s nothing like a silly shot to capture the essence of childhood, right?

Sue, thank you for trusting me again with some of your most precious memories (and people)! You’re one of my favorites … love you all! 🙂
