It’s not difficult to explain why I dig this family so much. They’ve been clients and friends for over 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing two out of their four babies, and MMP has joyously photographed this fun family more times than I can count (and in two different states no less!) And while all of those things are true, the main reason this clan resonates so well with me is because they are just truly amazing people. Hardworking, dedicated, wicked sense of humor, kind, and genuine; definitely the type of people you want to hang around with! (And need I mention Gwen’s perfect sense of style??)
The Peters family and I were first introduced when we were stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO together. I helped them welcome their second son into the world, and as fate would have it, we all moved to Fort Stewart, GA within a year of each other. I documented the birth of their last baby, sweet Miss V. in late 2015. We wrapped up 2016 with a family session on a gorgeous evening at a local park – I apologize (not!) for the image overload! The Peters are stunning and the camera loves them something fierce!
These boys are simply the cutest! Love their close relationship.

Hands down, a favorite from their session. It’s blown up as a sample in my studio. When words can’t, photographs can.
This couple has endured so much together. Their strength and love for each other is a perfect example of how marriage can (and should) be.
We literally shot until the sun disappeared from the sky. Evenings like this can’t be beat.
