Introducing the Schwoob family! Meghan is a busy mom of two adorable kids ages five and seven. Phil is a pilot for the Army. Fun fact … we discovered early on that Phil and my brother (who is retired Army), know each other well and served together! Such a small world.

This gorgeous family is originally from Colorado.

For now it’s time for an amazing portrait session beginning in Forsyth Park! Meghan opted for a sunrise session and I’m so glad she did. Although it requires an early wakeup, the light is gorgeous at this hour, plus the city was peacefully quiet.

This family portrait was one of Meghan and Phil’s favorites. It is now framed and hanging up in their new home!

Look at those smiles! We are so blessed to live in coastal Georgia where there are so many beautiful places to enjoy. Unsure where you’d like to have your family session done? Our boutique studio is always an option, but if on-location is more your style we have several places to select from including Ft. McAllisterJ.F. Gregory Park, Tivoli Marsh, downtown Savannah, Red Gate Farms, and Tybee, to name a few.

What a fun shot! And look at that luscious green background! The setting at Forsyth is great for capturing beautiful images.

How cute are they! Little brothers are silly for sure.

Mom knocked their clothing choices out of the park! While selecting your wardrobe, always keep in mind what colors/hues will work best with your color scheme, as our final outcome is always at least one gorgeous piece of wall art to display in your home. You may also want to consider including items that hold personal meaning to you such as a family heirloom or your child’s favorite toy or blanket. These will make your portraits more meaningful.

Gah, they are such a sweet couple! Meghan and Phil wanted to be sure to capture their children at these ages, but also preserve their time here in Savannah. Family portraits are a perfect way of doing this! It’s a good idea because childhood (and time to PCS again) goes by much too quickly.

I love the hug pose as it elicits a ton of laughter. No props needed here! Savannah offers so much in a way of visual opportunities. It is its own canvas, really. However, props are always welcome in our portrait sessions. They may be something from our studio, from nature, or a special item from home. For children’s portraits, you might want to include a favorite toy, book, blanket, or family heirloom.

Just gorgeous!

How appropriate to have this amazing military family posed with our nations emblem in the background. The red, white, and blue of those flags add color and beauty to this already stunning portrait.

It was such a pleasure photographing the Schwoob family! Capturing images families will cherish for a lifetime is one of the best parts of being a photographer. We hope they enjoy these special memories for many years to come. Thanks Schwoob fam!
