This sweet little guy is the nephew to my sister-in-law, Laura. Providing that said sister-in-law lives in Washington State with my brother, the duty to photograph precious Baby A. fell to me … a job I eagerly agreed to!
I, of course, knew of Alan and Trisha through chats with Laura; however, the first time we officially met was at the studio for Baby A.’s session, early one May morning. They drove quite a distance to see me and I was utterly impressed that they arrived several minutes early! (who honestly can do that a week after the birth of a baby?)
Perhaps it’s because we are extended family, but I instantly loved both Alan and Trisha. Soft spoken and kind hearted, we chatted easily and exchanged “oohs” and “aaahs” over their precious new bundle. Darling Baby A. was wrapped snuggly in his carseat, with a swatch of delicate, wispy red hair peeking out from his cocoon. He was definitely one of those babies that immediately snags your heart at the mere sight of him, perfect in every way.
The gorgeous new family and Baby A., sporting some fan love. 😉
He loved being wrapped up tight.
Trisha is a sucker for profiles as much as I am – this was one of her favorite images.
See what I mean? Such sweet, sweet perfection.
This pose always make me chuckle … love those luscious cheeks!
The theme in Baby A.’s nursery is the forest. His quilt has an array of stitched woodland creatures, including a fox. I knew the fox hat from Owl Crochet You would be an adorable addition.
Baby A. was one of the best sleepers I’ve had to date; so calm and quiet. He barely made a sound.
And that endearing profile again. I swoon.
Alan and Trisha, thank you so much for bringing your handsome little guy to see me. It was fantastic to finally meet you all. I can’t wait to watch Baby A. grow up!
