I’ve been photographing this sweet girl for over 3 years, first meeting H. only days after taking her first breath outside her mama’s womb. She is, along with her mom and dad, among some of my favorite people. Warm, kind-hearted, and full of fun and laughter, I immediately liked this wonderful family. I’ve even had the opportunity to photograph H.’s grandparents, aunt and uncle, even a baby cousin! It’s been such an honor to watch H. grow.

Mom, Jodi, always selects the most beautiful outfits for H. to wear and this year was no exception.
We selected picturesque Wormsloe as the backdrop for H.’s three year-old session. Such a beautiful place.
I received word today that H. and her parents will be moving back home to Texas. While I know that this move is best for their family, I can’t help but (selfishly) be saddened by the news. It’s always hard to say goodbye.
Derek and Jodi, thank you for choosing MMP and continuing to choose us year after year. You’ve become cherished friends and I will miss you. Much love.
