Like most people, I’m sure you’ve seen a post in your community FB group asking for photographer recommendations – and the GIGANTIC list that follows? It can be hard to filter through the noise and narrow down the choices. You should always consider a photographer’s style, professionalism, customer reviews, and the experience they provide. And while we usually hear about all the things a photographer WILL do for you, here are 3 things I’d NEVER do as a photographer: client edition! And the last one is my biggest NEVER!
1. I won’t throw you to the wolves when it comes to preparing for your session. Did you know that MMP gives you lots of pre- session education to help you prep for your big day?!? Regardless of the session type, we will help you prep yourself or your family – including skin, nails, wardrobe, and props so that you (or your little one) will be picture perfect for your session day!
2. I won’t put you in stiff and boring poses. While we do embrace some “traditional” posing, you’ll also enjoy natural and candid poses as well.
3. I won’t edit away what makes you, YOU. At MMP we refuse to edit away your pores, freckles and beauty marks. We won’t “size you down” or throw filters at your images that represent false colors. You are perfect just the way you are… let us help you realize that with stunning skin texture and tone, your true shape and the real tones & colors from your session day.
We love creating a higher standard for all our portraits – maternity, newborn, children, families, and high school seniors – and to me, that means staying true to YOU in your pictures.
So, if you’re ready for a higher standard of portraits, e-mail me at megan@meganmyrickphotography.com to get your booking process started!
